Residents Out Safely After House Fire in Saukville

All family members safely exited a house fire Wednesday night in Saukville.

The fire was in the 3000 block of River Hills Court, according to a Wisconsin Incident Alert message. The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department issued a statement that the fire appeared to start in the basement and all residents got out.

Responding departments were Saukville, Port Washington, Waubeka, Fredonia, Newburg, Cedarburg, Grafton and Thiensville.

The statement indicated that the fire did not seem suspicious.
