Man Slaps Woman Who was About to Kiss him

Suspect becomes upset with a woman at his house when she won't let him touch her breasts; now, he faces charges of battery domestic abuse.

A 21-year-old Port Washington man is facing charges after he slapped a woman in his residence after he became upset because she wouldn’t let him touch her breasts.

Adam M. Briggs was charged in Ozaukee County Circuit Court on May 24 with one count of battery domestic abuse. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

On May 4, the victim was in Brigg’s residence in the 1000 block of Westport Drive when he asked to touch her breasts, but she said no. He then asked for a kiss and the woman agreed, however, when she went to kiss Briggs he slapped her on the right cheek.

The victim told him that was a bad thing to do, but he then slapped her five or six more times on the left cheek, then kicked her in the leg.

Briggs will make his initial appearance in court July 3.
