Men Steal Potted Plants from Private Property, Police Say

The two ceramic pots of flowers must have been just too pretty for this pair to ignore.

It's not every day you see a man carrying around flowers — especially the potted variety.

And when a Port Washington police officer noticed two men carrying ceramic flower pots in Port Washington at 1:14 a.m. July 28, he knew something was up, according to police reports. The officer learned that the 24-year-old men from West Bend had stolen the plants from the 100 block of East Main Street.

The two were cited for theft of private property.
