Overnight Burglar Gets Away With Nearly $2K in Electronics

The Saukville residents woke up early the next morning, only to slowly realize several electronic devices were missing from the home.

An unknown suspect entered a Saukville home overnight, and walked away with nearly $2,000 in stolen electronics.

Saukville police received a phone call at 10:14 a.m. July 28 regarding the burglary in the 300 block of Colonial Parkway, according to police reports. The residents said they had woken up about 6:30 a.m. and as the morning went on began to realize several items were missing.

Among the missing items were: a Toshiba laptop, an iPhone 4S, a Kodak digital camera and other computer software, all valued at $1,749.99, according to police reports. The residents told police they were positive the front door was locked before they went to sleep shortly before midnight, however they were not sure that the back patio was locked.

Police did not find any sign of forced entry, and believe the burglar entered through the unlocked patio door — however, there are no suspects at this time.
