Ozaukee County Undersheriff Wins State 'Officer of the Year' Award

Undersheriff Jim Johnson, of the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office, was recently recognized by the Wisconsin American Legion.

Undersheriff Jim Johnson, of the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office, was recently recognized by the Wisconsin American Legion.  Johnson received the Edward J. Ormsby, Law and Order Award, from the Wisconsin American Legion. This award is presented each year to one Wisconsin law enforcement officer recognizing that officer as "Officer of the Year."

Johnson was selected by the Legion for the award, from the all of the nominees presented from law enforcement agencies all across the state.  Johnson received his award at the American Legion state convention on July 20, at the Legion’s state convention at Oconomowoc.
