PD: 'Cut Off' Patron Throws Shot Glass at Bartender

A roundup of recent activity from the police blotter also includes an odd violation of a restraining order as well as a stolen jacket for money owed.

You know you've had too much when ... you don't know you've had too much.

That was seemingly the case for this 46-year-old Port woman out drinking at 7:37 p.m. Friday at Sundance Tavern, 551 N. Wisconsin St.

Port Washington police were called to the tavern after the woman threw a shot glass at the bartender because she had been "cut off." The woman was cited for disorderly conduct.

That's one to regret in the morning.

More from the reports:

  • Who's restrained from seeing who? A 15-year-old Port Washington girl let herself in a home on the 100 block of South High Street at 3:53 p.m. Friday. The girl was waiting for her ex-boyfriend to arrive home. Funny, the girl has a restraining order out against the him. The girl was cited for trespassing; her ex was not in violation of the restraining order because the girl had entered without permission. Love stinks.
  • Just holding it for ransom? A 16-year-old boy at Port Washington High School was spoken to at 2:11 p.m. Jan. 15 in connection with the theft of another student's jacket. The boy said he took the jacket because the student owed him money. The boy was warned for the theft, and the jacket was returned.

referring to voting at schools. just take 2 half days for teacher s and make it a full day that being voting days that way the kids are off , one whole day for teacher development instead of 2 half days. the voting can take place without the kids in the building

How is the shot glass incident 'Disorderly Conduct' and not Assault?
