PD: Parent Warned for Swearing in School Parking Lot

A roundup of recent activity from the police blotter also includes loud music and a crash in the roundabouts.

It's only known what was said on one side of the conversation, but in this case that's all that mattered.

Dunwiddie Elementary School staff overheard a 39-year-old Port Washington woman in the parking lot use "foul language" while on the phone at 8:03 a.m. Friday, and a child was present. According to police reports, a staff member attempted to speak with the woman, and was flipped off.

Police were contacted, and the parent was warned.

What's that saying? Oh yeah — if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

More from the reports:

Round, and around, and around you go:

Where you stop? After hitting the curb, apparently. Police responded to a minor traffic accident at 10:56 p.m. May 27 in the roundabout at Grand and Heritage after a 20-year-old Saukville man lost control of his vehicle and struck the curb. There was tire and rim damage done to his vehicle.

Keep it down:
Police responded to a complaint at 1:13 a.m. Saturday of loud music coming from Port Hole Tavern, 201 W. Grand Ave. The owner was advised of the complaint, told to close its doors and keep it quiet.
