PD: Stolen Purse, Broken Window and No Suspects

Port Washington residents report incidents involving damage to and theft from their vehicles.

No suspects have surfaced in two incidents involving Port Washington residents' vehicles.

The first involves a 67-year-old Port Washington man who called police at 2 p.m. Friday to report the passenger side window of his truck was smashed, according to police reports. Though nothing was reported missing, police are not sure who caused the damage.

But a 30-year-old Port woman did report the theft of her purse at 11:14 a.m. Jan. 6, according to reports. The woman said the purse was stolen from her car while parked overnight in the 1300 block of North Benjamin Street.

Her car had been unlocked; no windows were broken.
