PD: Resident Hit by Thief Several Times, Nearly $300 Stolen

Recent incidents involving this Port Washington resident seem to involve a stalker of some form — or just a lot of bad luck.

A Port resident in the 1500 block of North Holden Street called Port police at 11:09 a.m. Jan. 28, according to police reports, to report the back door of his residence wide open; the caller as found $200 missing from the home.

The resident said money had also recently been stolen from them twice at work, totalling $90 missing.

There are no suspects.

• $%#@: Port Washington police responded to Thomas Jefferson Middle School at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday after staff called on a 14-year-old boy who had used "vulgar and profane language towards school staff," police reports said. The boy was cited for disorderly conduct. About an hour later, police were at Port Washington High School after a 17-year-old girl was "disrupting class and the school environment in general while using profane language," and refused to leave the classroom. Police cited her for disorderly conduct, and she was suspended.
• Drunk in ... school? Police were called to Port Washington High School at 8:21 a.m. Thursday after staff called saying they believed a 17-year-old Saukville boy had consumed alcohol. The boy registered a .10 blood alcohol content after a breathalizer test was given. He was cited for underage alcohol.
