Port Man Hits Girlfriend After Trying to Take Money from her Bra
Suspect was drunk when he hit the woman, victim said.
A 53-year-old Port Washington man is facing charges after he struck his girlfriend after trying to get money out of her bra.
According to the criminal complaint, the man was drunk inside a home in the 400 block of North Franklin Street on Monday, when he got into an argument with his girlfriend. He tried to remove money from the woman’s bra, but was unsuccessful; then he struck her.
The victim told police he had just moved back in with her in the past week and he had hit her the night before, but she didn’t report it at the time.

The man was charged with one count of disorderly conduct domestic abuse and could face up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines if convicted.
