  • Don't dial that number: Hang-up 911 calls seem to happen often in Port Washington, and this past week there's a 3-day streak of crying wolf. Twelve hours later on Jan. 26, police spoke with a 31-year-old Port man after getting a 911 call from his cell phone. At 8:40 p.m. that day, Police spoke to a 46-year-old Port woman who also pocket-dialed 911 on her phone while walking in the 1600 block of Parknoll Lane.
