Port Police Report: Employees Stop Drunken Dine-and-Dash

A roundup of the latest activity also includes a veteran seeking special treatment and an after-bar party.

While drunken munchies is not an uncommon experience, not everyone who's hungry after getting intoxicated also ends up getting a ride in a cop car because of it.

Employees at , 1021 N. Wisconsin St., called police at 8:49 p.m. Sunday about a customer who had ordered a pizza inside the restaurant. The 33-year-old Port Washington man was intoxicated, and employees were afraid he was going to leave Pizza Hut without paying for his pizza.

The man was given a ride home.
