Port Police Report: Mystery Tagger, Soda Stealer and an Underage Drinker

A roundup of the latest activity from the police blotter.

Police believe the same person was responsible for writing with white paint on a Dumpster and a We Energies utility pole Wednesday morning.

The Dumpster tagging was reported at 6:08 a.m. Wednesday on the 500 block of W. Grand Avenue behind a business. Police got a call about the tagged pole at 10:22 a.m. Wednesday, in the area of North Spring Street and Algoma Drive.

  • Mad for soda: A 30-year-old man from Illinois stole a bottle of soda from the , 1605 N. Wisconsin St. Thursday at about 3:43 p.m. When officers stopped him, the man admitted to stealing the soda and returned it.
  • Underage drinking: An 18-year-old Port Washington woman was cited for underage drinking Saturday at 3:18 a.m. She had been arguing with her dad and was found walking down the hill.Β 
  • Kids these days: Police responded to a report that kids were yelling at passing cars May 13 at 12:39 p.m. on the 1200 block of West Lincoln Avenue. Police advised them to behave better.
