Port Police Report: Picture of Male Parts Prompts Call to Cops

There are a few things about human anatomy that people of all ages will find amusing to pick on. 

To name a few? Farts, burping ...

... and male genitalia.

A 15-year-old Port boy found himself victim to such childish pranks on Saturday. He called police at 11:41 a.m. to report food being thrown in his vehicle as well as a picture of male genitalia drawn on his car window while parked in the 300 block of Nautica Drive.

He suspected and blamed an 18-year-old Port man for the damage, but that man reported similar vandalism to his vehicle and denied involvment.

  • Run and hit: A 41-year-old Port woman called police at 7:36 a.m. March 5 to report a young man who, while running in the area, had run into the front of her vehicle. No damage was done to anyone or the car, but the woman wanted police to know about the incident. Perhaps he hit the pavement before getting in his morning coffee.
  • Not-so-smart phone: Police recieved a 911 hang up call at 8:52 p.m. Thursday from a home in the 900 block of Noridge Trail. After speaking to the 44-year-old Port man who lived there, police learned he had accidentally dialed 911 while attempting to set up his smart phone. Whoops!
  • The hostess gets the most-est: Police spoke to a 15-year-old Port girl at 9:07 p.m. March 8 after learning of an underage drinking party at on March 3. The girl admitted to bringing the alcohol to that party, and was cited for furnishing alcohol to underage persons.
