Port Police Report: Pile of Poop Spurs Call to Police

A roundup of the latest activity from the police blotter also includes a dangerous lawnmower and some runaway teens.

Maybe they just weren't potty trained, but something about the situation seems like it was just a gross prank by a group of juveniles.

Police responded to a call from a home in the 300 block of Regatta Drive at 11:09 p.m. Aug. 22, where a 50-year-old Port Washington woman reported her daughter's vehicle had been tampered with.

The vehicle, parked in the driveway, was decorated with feces.

  • Sure, blame the lawn mower: Seems like it's a case of the wrong place, wrong time. Police responded to a call from a 61-year-old Belgium woman whose vehicle was parked on the street in the 200 block of East Seven Hills Road at 1:10 p.m. Aug. 22. The window of the car had been broken. Police noticed the grass near where the car was parked had recently been mowed, and the broken window seemed to be consistent with being hit by a flying object from a mower discharge.
  • Foot chase: Run, run, run as fast as you can β€” that's apparently what was running through these teens' minds at 1:05 a.m. Thursday. Police stumbled upon the teens in the parking lot, and after the officer attempted contact the teens took off on foot. The officer won the race. A 19-year-old Thiensville man and a 15-year-old Mequon man were cited for resisting an officer and loitering. The 15-year-old was also cited for violating curfew.
