Port Police Report: Resident Calls in Possible Man Vs. Dog Fight

A roundup of the latest activity from the police blotter also includes another stolen GPS and a 911 call for a ride home.

It's either a case of pick on somebody your own size, or mind your own business.

Port police got a call at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday about a 40-year-old Port man in the 1700 block of Laura Lane that had punched his dog in the face.

The man told police he was attempting to train the dog, not get in a smack down.
