Port Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Woman in Mequon
Suspect allegedly locked the woman inside his SUV along with a child they share before forcing his hands on her.
A 25-year-old Port Washington man is facing charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman — with whom he has a child — in the parking lot of a Mequon business.
Jeremy J. Unti, 1068 Wesport Dr., was charged Thursday in Ozaukee County Circuit Court with two counts of third degree sexual assault and one count of false imprisonment. If convicted, he could face up to 26 years in prison and $60,000 in fines.

On Monday, the victim met Unti in the parking lot of a business near Mequon Road and Port Washington Road in Mequon to exchange a young child the two of them share.
The victim was placing the child in a car seat in the rear of Unti’s SUV when he came behind her and began to put his hands down her pants and grab her until she told him to stop.

Later that day, the victim returned to the parking lot where Unti was already parked; Unti told her to come and look at a Christmas gift he had purchased the child in the back of his SUV. He opened the rear door of the truck — where there actually was not a gift; he then forced her into the back and closed the door.
She tried to get out, but the child safety locks had been engaged and she was unable to open the doors.
Unti then entered the SUV and went into the rear cargo area and folded down the seat and asked the victim to come back with him. Unti then referenced recent pictures and videos he had sent the woman of himself masturbating. She had already grabbed the child, who was "fussing." After she said she didn’t want to do anything with him, Unti grabbed the child from her and placed it in the back, telling the woman to join them.
She then went to get the child back and Unti used the opportunity to unbutton her pants and grab her genitals with his hands. After a few minutes, he let her out of the SUV and allowed her to leave, but he sent her a message 40 minutes later asking her to not tell anyone about the incident.
Unti is currently being held in Ozaukee County Jail on $2,500 cash bond. His next court appearance is schedule for 8:30 a.m. Jan. 9.
