Port Washington Police Report: Classic Case of Ding, Dong, Ditch

A roundup of the latest activity from the police blotter.

An 84-year-old Port Washington called Port police at 12:32 p.m. Sunday.

She said her doorbell had rang, but no one was at the door of her house in the 1800 block of Woodview Circle.

This is not the first time she's had issues with ringing doorbells and empty doorsteps, she said.

  • Need help reeling it in? The Port Washington police responded to a hangup 911 call at 11:09 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of North Lake Street. They found a 20-year-old West Bend man fishing with a friend, and no emergency.
  • Mystery in the marina: A West Bend man reported hit and run damage to his boat trailer parked in the marina lot M-4 at 10:24 p.m. Friday. There are no suspects at this time.
