Port Washington Police Report: Missing Credit Card Used in Saukville

A roundup of the latest activity from the police blotter.

A 48-year-old Port Washington woman reported her Discover card missing at 9:25 a.m. June 7 after attending the Newburg Fireman's Picnic.

Police found that transactions had since been made in the Saukville and West Bend areas without the woman's permission.

  • Unwanted detail: A 28-year-old Port Washington man woke up June 6 to find his vehicle not in the same condition as the night before. The car had been parked in his driveway in the 200 block of West Jefferson Street overnight. At 4:06 p.m., he reported it had been keyed sometime throughout the night.
  • Missing dogs: A black lab with no collar was found running loose in the north beach area at 1:20 p.m. June 7. Later, at 5:27 p.m., police received a report of a grey/black older dog running in the 400 block of West Michigan Street. Both animals were taken to the Ozaukee County Humane Society-Saukville Campus.
  • Beep, beep and a beep! Ozaukee County Human Services, 121 W. Main St., reported that a 57-year-old Grafton man had been calling and leaving profane voicemails at 3:38 p.m. June 7. The man was cited for disorderly conduct.
  • S'mores, anyone? Port Washington police responded to a report from the 800 block of Noridge Trail stating that a group of people were having a bonfire on the beach at 9:33 p.m. June 6. Police found a group of 15- through 19-year-olds from Campbellsport, Mount Calvary and Fond Du Lac by the fire on the beach. They were warned for violating the no-fire rules as well as park closing times.
