Saukville Police Report: Legos, Marijuana and Loud Ex-boyfriends.

Police stopped by Walmart in Saukville at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 6 in response to a report of shoplifting.

The 21-year-old Port Washington woman had taken three sets of Lego toys from the store.

Further investigation into the Port woman revealed this was not the first time she had stolen from a retail store. Another police department had a warrant out for the woman; she was arrested for the warrant and a request for charges of retail theft was sent to the district attorney.

  • Sniffing it out: The canine unit assisted police at 9:43 p.m. Jan. 9, after an officer detected the odor of marijuana during a routine traffic stop. The vehicle was originally stopped for speeding on West Dekora Street, just west of Dekora Woods Boulevard. The drug canine unit found marijuana and drug paraphernalia on several of the occupants, as well as inside the vehicle.
    Police asked that charges of possession of drug paraphernalia be filed against a 19-year-old Grafton man, an 18-year-old Mequon man and an 18-year-old Cedarburg woman. Charges for possession of marijuana were also requested against the Mequon man. The woman had been driving, and was cited for speeding as well having open intoxicants inside the vehicle.
  • Leave it to the ex: Police responded to a residence in the 100 block of East Dekora Street at 3:06 a.m. Jan 9, where a woman said her ex-boyfriend would not leave the house. The woman said the 51-year-old Grafton man came to house earlier that evening, started drinking and had become loud and beligerent, and started threatening her.
    The man also resisted police orders to leave the residence, shouting obscenities and threatening the officer. A request for charges of disorderly conduct and resisting an officer against the Grafton man were filed with the district attorney.
