UPDATE: Services for Saukville Crash Victim to be Held Saturday

Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the one-vehicle crash that killed Sara Pujanauski of the town of Saukville on Saturday morning.

A 19-year-old town of Saukville woman is dead after a one-vehicle crash in the town of Fredonia early Saturday morning.

A memorial near the crash site has been started with flowers and some personal effects. Visitation and a funeral mass will be held Saturday at Divine Savior Parish, Holy Cross Chapel in Holy Cross, according to an obituary published in Tuesday's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Police pronounced Sara Pujanauski dead at the scene of the one-vehicle crash on County Highway I and Belgium Kohler Road on Saturday morning, according to dispatch.

Police received the call at 6:04 a.m. Saturday. Investigating officers say Pujanauski was driving a silver 2001 Pontiac Sunfire, traveling southbound on Hwy. I. For an unknown reason, she veered sharply left, leaving the road to the east, dispatchers said. The vehicle struck several trees before rolling over.

According to Facebook, Pujanauski graduated from Ozaukee High School in 2011, and attended Vici Beauty School in Milwaukee.

The incident is still under investigation as of Tuesday morning, and police are unsure whether Pujanauski was wearing a seatbelt.
