Security Camera Pictures Can Help ID Robber, Police Hope

Police are seeking help finding the suspect connected to the Sept. 2 incident in Fredonia.

Police are hoping the public can help in identifying an armed robber that got away with cash from a gas station in Fredonia.

The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Department released several photos from security cameras at Big Joe’s Service Station, W3970 CTH H, town of Fredonia from the Sept. 2 incident. Anyone with information can call Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Department Detective Bureau at 262-377-7172, and will remain anonymous.

Police responded at 9:47 p.m. Sept. 2. The clerk told deputies that a white man, approximately 5-foot, 10-inches tall and weighing 165 pounds, entered the station wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a bandana covering his face, according to the press release. The man appeared to be in his early 20s. 

The man displayed a handgun to the clerk who provided him with cash from the cash register. The suspect fled in a dark colored four door sedan west on CTH H from the gas station.
