Teen Suffers Minor Injuries After Causing Car Crash

The Port Washington Police Department responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 33 on Wednesday night.

A 16-year-old Port Washington girl was transported to the hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday night, according to the Port Washington Police Department.

The 16-year-old was driving eastbound on Highway 33; in turning left onto Highway LL, she failed to yeild to oncoming traffic, colliding with a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old Menomonee Falls woman.

The accident took place at about 6:10 p.m.; the 16-year-old was cited for failure to yield and transported via ambulance to the hospital for her injuries.
