Teens Caught Drinking on Way Home From Summerfest

A boy was pulled over in Saukville after someone reported a driver who may have been impaired.

A Summerfest excursion for two area teens didn’t end well after Saukville Police stopped their car.

Police were alerted that an impaired driver may have been behind the wheel of a car leaving the Summerfest bus stop at Wal-Mart.

Moments after midnight on July 5, an officer pulled over the car at West Fransee Lane and North Mill Street. The 18-year-old driver from Grafton and his 17-year-old passenger from Saukville both had been drinking. The driver, who registered a .12 on a breath test, was arrested for operating while intoxicated, first offense, and underage drinking. His female passenger registered .10 and was issued a citation for underage drinking.
