Too Much Fish Day Fun: People Found Passed Out on Festival Day
With no room at the hotel, one man even thought sleeping on the lobby couch was a good idea.
A few area residents had a bit too much fun on Fish Day, requiring a little help getting home.
Officers were first notified of a person passed out by the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 450 N Lake St., Port, at 8:48 p.m. Saturday, according to police reports. They responded to the area and found a 22-year-old West Bend man who was escorted out of the festival.
At 2:12 a.m. Sunday, a 911 call came in about a woman passed out near North Montgomery and West Washington streets, according to reports. The woman was partially in the roadway. Police responded and transported the 24-year-old town of Port woman to her home.

Finally, at 2:21 a.m. Sunday, police responded to Holiday Inn where a 54-year-old Saukville man was refusing to leave — merely looking for a place to pass out. According to reports, there were no more rooms available so the man fell asleep on the lobby couch and refused to leave; he was moved along.
