On Monday, a Grafton police officer on patrol near Veterans Park spotted the two men sitting in a car in the park. The officer went to inform them the park was closed and, while speaking to them, noticed the smell of intoxicants coming from their breath and a marijuana smell from inside the car.

The officer then searched the car and found a backpack that belonged to McWhorter with a bong, pipe, scale, rolling papers and baggie of high grade marijuana inside. Another backpack was in the car, which belonged to Hill and contained more marijuana and paraphernalia.
