Underage Beach Party Ends in Warrant Arrest
The 19-year-old and 20-year-old Ozaukee County residents were drinking on North Beach.
A 20-year-old Ozaukee County resident is in custody after a warrant through Jefferson County on an outstanding underage alcohol violation was discovered when he was caught, of all things, drinking underage.
The Mequon man was on North Beach near Mile Rock at 7:26 p.m. July 17 with a 19-year-old Grafton woman, according to police reports. Officers had received a tip that the two were drinking there.
Police responded to the area, and upon learning of the Mequon man's warrant, arrested him, reports said.
