Wallet Stolen from Unlocked Vehicle

The vehicle was parked in the driveway when the theft occurred.

A Port Washington man's wallet was stolen from his vehicle overnight and police have no suspects.

A 41-year-old Port Washington woman called police at 6:01 a.m. Aug. 20 to report her husband's wallet stolen from his vehicle overnight, according to police reports. The vehicle had been in his driveway in the 1700 block of Terrace Drive, unlocked.

Police had made some arrests in connections with thefts from unlocked vehicles, but the problem is still ongoing.
