Update: Teens Who Tossed Cups Drove Truck Sporting 'Monster' Sticker

A crash involving three semitrailers and a truck likely stemmed from a group of teens throwing cups full of water onto Interstate 43 from a bridge deck above the highway, according to a press release from the .

A group of three to four male juveniles had been standing on the bridge, throwing water-filled cups onto passing motorists, the release said. They were driving a red or dark-red truck with darker windows in the back, and with smaller seats in the rear of the truck cab. They were likely between 15- and 18-years-old; the driver was a white male wearing a knit-type cap on his head.

The truck is "newer" and on the side window behind the driver there was a decal sticker of an "M" associated with Monster Drink, an updated press release from the county department said. The sticker was green in color with the "claw" design running through the letter "M."

The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department responded to the crash at 9:17 p.m. Monday on I-43, just north of Cedar Beach Road in Belgium; the right lane of traffic was briefly closed while working to remove the damaged semis from the highway. Wisconsin State Patrol also responded to the incident.

If apprehended, the teens may face a felony charge.
