Well, I was Going to Steal Those ...

He admitted to almost committing a crime, and was cited for disorderly conduct.

Port Washington police received a call at 1:10 p.m. Thursday that someone was looking through vehicles' windows in the Lower Lake Park parking lot.

Officers responded to the area, 500 N. Lake St., Port, and found a 15-year-old boy of Port, according to police reports. The boy matched the description the caller had provided.

In speaking with the teen, he admitted to wanting to steal two iPhones inside a vehicle β€” but said he actually hadn't done so, the report said. He was cited for disorderly conduct.
