2 Days Left to Use Saukville Spring Clean Up Dumpster

Check list of acceptable items to dump before heading that way.

The Village of Saukville has a dumpster available to its residents partaking in any major spring cleaning, according to its newsletter.

The dumpster is located at the Department of Public Works garage, 649 S. Main St., and people can drop off between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday and also May 7.

Items that can be dumped at this location include: a limit of one large piece of furniture; carpeting; toys; small amounts of construction material (1 cubic yard maximum); a limit of one box spring and mattress set; and other miscellaneous items intended for landfill.

Identification will be required as this is for village residents only. Officials also as that batteries be placed along concrete wall, that no items such as waste oil, anti-freeze, paints, liquids, or hazardous waste and no appliances, recyclables, dirt, sod, brush, grass clippings, leaves, compost, concrete, rocks, bricks, concrete block, iron or tires be brought. Also, no electronics can be dumped β€” including but not limited to: TVs, computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, photocopiers, VCRs & DVRs and telephones with video displays.
