Another heat advisory lingers over the area, effective until 9 p.m. Thursday, as "very hot and humid air will remain over southern Wisconsin," the National Weather Service reports. Temperatures in the mid-90s to 100s combined with high dewpoints will create heat indeces between 105 and 110.
