Boerner Building Design Plans Moving Along

The Port Washington Design Review Board approved the plans to restore the former Lueptow building on Tuesday.

Plans to restore the facade of the former Lueptow building in downtown Port Washington were approved city’s Design Review Board on Tuesday.

The plan includes a new parking lot and alley behind the building and the replacement of the more than 80 windows of the building, according to an Ozaukee Press article; it will also include office space, retail space and an artist studio. The building should be complete in June.

Morgan Stanley executive and Port native Daniel Ewig purchased the for former Lueptow building, 211 N. Franklin St this summer.

The plans will now go in front of the Port Washington Plan Commission on Dec. 20 for further approval.
