How to Register to Vote in Port Washington, Saukville

In honor of National Voter Registration Day, here's how and where to register as a new voter in Port Washington and Saukville.

If you haven’t yet registered to vote, get it off your to-do list now.

Today is National Voter Registration Day, and thousands of local, state and national organizations have mobilized to make sure millions of people don’t miss the chance to cast their vote in this year’s elections.

Six million people didn’t vote in the 2008 elections because they either did not know how to register or because they missed the voter registration deadline.

In Wisconsin, here are some deadlines for registering to vote:

  • To register to vote by mail, your form must be postmarked by Oct. 20 and mailed to your local clerk:
    • Port Washington City Hall, 100 West Grand Avenue, Port Washington, WI 53074;
    • Saukville Village Hall, 639 E Green Bay Ave, Saukville, WI 53080;
    • Town of Port Hall, 3715 Highland Drive, Town or Port Washington, Wisconsin 53074;
    • Town of Saukville Hall, 3762 Lakeland Road, Saukville, WI 53080.
  • To register to vote in person before the election, you must go to your local clerk's office by 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2
  • You can register at the polls on the same day as the election, Tuesday, Nov. 6
