Hwy. 33 Near I-43 Intersection in Saukville Closing Overnight

The closure will give construction crews the time to lay a final layer of asphalt as part of the Highway 33 construction project.

The part of Highway 33 just beneath the I-43 bridge in Saukville will be closed overnight for final paving on Wednesday.

The closure will take place from 10 p.m. Wednesday through 5 a.m. Thursday, according to a press release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

Crews will be laying down the final surface layer of asphalt on this short stretch of roadway. Emergency vehicles will be given access as needed. Detour routes will be posted for the traveling public.
