Four top county posts are on the ballot in November and, in each, the incumbent is running unopposed. All are Republicans.
The positions on the ballot are:
- District Attorney Adam Gerol. In 2009, Gerol was appointed to the District Attorney's office by Gov. Jim Doyle. Gerol was a former assistant D.A. in Milwaukee County before his appointment. District Attorneys serve four-year terms in Wisconsin. He is the president of the Wisconsin District Attorneys Association.
- County Clerk Julianne Winkelhorst.The County Clerk handles such things as licensing and elections. Winklehorst took over in 2007, after serving as Deputy County Clerk.
- Register of Deeds Ronald Voigt. Voigt is a former alderman for Port Washington and has served on many boards and organizations.
- Treasurer Karen Makoutz. Makoutz has been Treasurer since 1993. She has served as president of the Wisconsin County Treasurer’s Association and other organizations.
