Working With Less Than One Year to Go

With less than a year to go, our Party is not wasting any time in preparing for 2014’s midterm elections. Our grassroots network and its infrastructure are stronger than ever and as a result, our Republican leadership is robust.

Earlier this year, eight fully-staffed field offices were opened to help expand support throughout Wisconsin. We’ve taken this time as an opportunity to fine tune our operations and the way we collect feedback from voters. This Fall, the 21st and 69th Assembly District special elections have provided several opportunities to further assess how we collect data. Now that we have the ability to get real-time updates from the ground, we are better able to talk to voters and focus on the issues that matter.

Through these offices, supporters and activists can volunteer in a variety of ways. The Community Captains Program provides the perfect base for leadership among Wisconsin Republicans, building strong organizations at the local level. Captains are the driving force behind our efforts in their respective neighborhoods and communities.

Field offices have started using a new mobile application that is revolutionizing the way we reach voters. This application will allow volunteers the ability to walk out of their own front door and begin reaching out to potential supporters in their own neighborhoods – we can target our messages and provide instant follow-up.

With less than 12 months to go, we have the ability to find out what voters are thinking and better drive our strategy in neighborhoods across the state. These new initiatives will not only lead to success in the 21st and 69th Assembly district elections, but will lead to victories in 2014 and beyond.
