Congrats Pasta Shoppe!

Congratulating Pasta Shoppe!

Shop Port, Think Local is proud to join the Port Washington community in congratulating Jim and Maria Kiesow on 40 years in business as Pasta Shoppe.  The Pasta Shoppe was born in 1973 when the Kiesows purchased a little pizza parlor on Franklin Street and transformed it into Port’s favorite Italian eatery.  The menu has expanded over the years to include weekly items such as specialty ravioli, specialty martinis, homemade entrees every Saturday night made by owner Maria, and nightly specials with deals for kids and more.

The big red tomato sign marks the location that provides dine-in and carry-out service seven days a week.  It’s a tall order to be open daily, but the Kiesows manage it with a stable staff that includes employees who have been with the Pasta Shoppe for up to twenty years!  Jim and Maria consider their staff and their loyal customers to be “family”, Italian-style.
