Has PED Saga Altered Your Opinion of Ryan Braun?

The Brewers slugger could face a 100-game suspension after refusing to answer questions about his connection to a Biogenesis clinic and its former owner.

The Milwaukee Brewers’ already troubled season could take a big hit following the All-Star break when slugger Ryan Braun is expected to be suspended by Major League Baseball — possibly for 100 games, ESPN reports.

Ryan Braun reportedly refused to answer questions from MLB regarding his connection to the south Florida Biogenesis clinic and its former operator Tony Bosch, according to ESPN.

MLB has been in the process of interviewing players suspected of buying performance-enhancing drugs, including Braun, whose names were listed on documents from Biogenesis.

MLB told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel it was "premature" to say a decision had been made to suspend Braun because of buying performance-enhancing drugs from Bosch.

With that said, we asked fans of Port Washington Patch on Facebook what they thought. Does this report affect your attitude toward the Brewers' star? Does he deserve the benefit of the doubt regarding the possible use of PEDs...or is the evidence beginning to stack up against him?

Cari Solochek Kuehmichel: He needs to be up front because he's got a thousands and thousands of 11 year old boys like my son who idolized him and I were questioning what happened. I want the Brewers to do what the Patriots did with Hernandez and take back their jerseys and give you a free one of the different number on it. It's shameful that he got away with it last year and everyone back to him and now he doesn't want to talk about it.

Ruth Duffrin: if he has nothing to hide he should be able to answer questions without getting himself in trouble.

Wendy Smith: Unfortunately where there's smoke there's fire:(

Tom Glander Jr: Good go cubs
