VIDEO: In Wild One, Pirates Can't Track Down Red Knights

Milwaukee Lutheran's offense, special teams build big lead as Pirates lose, 42-26.

Port Washington got 193 passing yards from Taylor Davenport in a 42-26 loss to Milwaukee Lutheran on Friday night.

The Pirates (1-2, 0-1 North Shore Conference) were down 35-6 early, but kept fighting and twice got within a couple of scores, but just ran out of time.

Port Washington forced and recovered four fumbles, and also perfectly executed an onside kick, to help offset the 317 passing yards from the state's passing leader, Jacob Nelson of Milwaukee Lutheran. Nelson has now thrown for 1,135 yards, 15 touchdowns and 1 interception in three games.
