Wrestling Heroes Parade Down Main Street

The streets of Port Washington were treated to a parade on Sunday, thanks to outstanding performances by Port High School wrestlers who represented the school at the WIAA State Tournament.

Port Washington High School knows how to celebrate.

One day after lighting the state wrestling world on fire, the conquering heroes returned home and were honored with a parade through downtown Port Washington.

About 50 cars with headlights blaring and honking horns followed a fire engine carrying the Port wrestlers. The parade  traveled from south Spring Street through downtown Port and finished at the high school.
