PHOTOS: Humane Society Busy With Adoptions During Anniversary

It's been one year since the Wisconsin Humane Society-Ozaukee Campus first opened it's doors for adoptions in Saukville; since that opening, the shelter has doubled it's adoptions. Congrats to the new animal owners who adopted this weekend!

The Wisconsin Humane Society-Ozaukee Campus in Saukville is celebrating their first anniversary Monday. In honor of the building's birthday, adopters from over the weekend went home with a free gift as well as their new companion animal.

The WHS Ozaukee Campus has doubled adoptions in the new facility since its opening last year, according to a press release from Director of Development & Community Relations Angela Speed. The society has also hosted thousands of children in programming since its opening.
