PD: Teens Break Windows, Steal from Local Businesses

Two teens received multiple citations after breaking into Port Washington businesses, damaging windows and stealing cigarettes, among other items. The 15-year-old Grafton boy and 17-year-old Port boy were found at 2:37 a.m. Dec. 23, according to police reports. A call was received that a fire exinguisher had been stolen from the Maytag Laundromat and used to break into the Smoke Shack on South Spring Street. The teens had stolen cigarette lighters, cases and electronic cigarettes from the Smoke Shack, the report said. A window at Bernie’s Fine Meats had been broken, though nothing was taken; a window was broken on a vehicle parked near Bernie's, as well as a broken window on the Pebble House.
