I just found out that my Dad is going on the June Flight. I couldn't be more proud of him to be able to go on this journey with his fellow vets. Many thanks to all that have served our country so that we can enjoy the freedoms we do. Living out of State, my only regret is not being able to be there when they depart on their Historic journey and return back home with many renewed brothers in arms …   more ›

55,000 Viewers Later: Honor Flight Film Continues to Make History

Dad served in the South Pacific during WWII. He died this past April just 10 days short of his 96th birthday. Three naval officers presented us with an American flag and a wonderful gun salute at his grave site. It was so appropriate and touching. I'm very glad that Honor Flight is happening now, as there just aren't many of these noble veterans left. God bless America and all it stands for!   more ›

I would think it would be a field trip to Marcus. They did promise a DVD release for the movie, but I'd guess that won't happen until it is out of theaters 12/15. You may want to contact http://www.honorflightthemovie.com/contact/ and see if they have any provisions in mind for getting the movie into schools. I think every American should see this documentary.   more ›
