Port Washington Main Street Executive Director said the event saw about 1,000 women in attendance, visiting the 66 participating busineses. "It took over 40 volunteers and many, many hours to put this event on and it was great to hear ladies saying 'thank you' for continuing to put it on," Grover said. Did you attend? Ladies Night Out: Kiss Continues in Downtown Port

The 4th annual event is earlier this year than in year's past — and pre-registration is under way now. Learn what else is new in 2013.

The streets of downtown Port Washington will become a flurry of pink once again in February as women flock to the area for the 4th annual Kiss of Indulgence Ladies Night Out. The event is set for 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 12, and pre-registration is underway. "Come downtown as the businesses open their doors on this mid-winter's eve, providing samples, coupons, giveaways, drawings, and more," the event posting on VisitPortWashington.com said. "The ladies love this chance for some fun in the middle of winter, and the businesses love to have this much exposure, and a chance to make some new customers." My Second 'Kiss' Went a Little Like This

Fourth annual Ladies Night Out another success for a lot of reasons.

It's not often I get out of the house without one of three things attached to me: my dog, my boyfriend or my computer AKA mobile Patch office. So to be able to hit the town on a Tuesday night with just a girl friend and high spirits for the annual Kiss of Indulgence Ladies Night Out event was a pretty sweet treat. OK — not 100 percent sweet as I did still have election coverage to attend to that evening, and so I wasn't 100 percent free of my mobile office. But, the dog and the boyfriend were left at home. The other thing that was outside of the norm on this Tuesday night? Port Washington was swarming with women. 800 Women Already Registered for Ladies Night

Kiss of Indulgence Ladies Night Out event will likely bring 1,200 women to Port's downtown on Tuesday, organizers say.

In it's fourth year, the annual Kiss of Indulgence Ladies Night Out is set to be bigger and better with more than 800 women already preregistered and 70 businesses signed up to participate. Last year, the event had 600 preregistered women and ended up with about 1,100 participants on event night, organizer Maria Kiesow said. This year, there were 800 women preregistered on Thursday and the group expects 1,200 women to show up on Tuesday. The event, hosted by the Port Washington Main Street Program, is meant to give exposure to downtown businesses as well as offer women a relaxing night on the town. It runs from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Attendees, Businesses Rave About Experience at Kiss of Indulgence

More than 50 area businesses participated in the event that drew 1,100 women.

Yvette Murrie of Fredonia and Liz Collins of a township outside of Saukville  didn’t waste a minute at the Kiss of Indulgence ladies night out event on Tuesday. Arriving at the event at its start — 5 p.m. — the two managed to visit every participating business, more than 50 total stops. “I would definitely do this again next year,” claimed Murrie. “It was a blast.” And the night wasn’t just a busy one for attendees — businesses also enjoyed the evening and all the foot traffic it brought. “I thought it would slow down with the fashion show, but it didn’t,” said Elizabeth MacCrimmon, owner of The Chocolate Chisel, 125 W.
