Kids Find Nude Man in Jeep in Downtown Port

The driver of the jeep ignored officers' requests to stop the vehicle, and the nude man was gone when law enforcement caught up.

A nude man in a Jeep caught the eye of two kids walking with their dad in Port Washington's downtown, prompting a call to police and a short car chase — and though the naked man was nowhere to be found, a Milwaukee man is facing charges. Joseph Whitaker, Jr., was charged Friday in Ozaukee County Circuit Court with eluding an officer and faces $10,000 in fines and 3 years, 6 months in prison; he could also lose his license for 6 months. A Thiensville police officer was walking with his 9- and 7-year-old boys on May 8 in the lower parking lot of the Holiday Inn in Port's downtown when the kids began running towards their dad talking about a "naked guy in a car down there," according to the criminal complaint. PD: Ex-Girlfriend Calls Cops on Ex-Boyfriend for Drunken Driving

A 32-year-old Saukville man faces charges for operating while intoxicated after driving behind his ex-girlfriend after drinking.

A 32-year-old Saukville man faces a 2nd-offense drunken driving charge after following his ex-girlfriend while driving drunk. Scott Philp was charged Friday in Ozaukee County Circuit Court with 2nd-offense operating while intoxicated and 2nd-offense operating with a prohibited alcohol content and faces $2,200 in fines as well as up to 1 year imprisonment. He may also lose his license for up to 3 years. Officers received a call at 2:42 a.m. Dec. 29 in the area of North Mill Street and State Highway 33 about a possibly intoxicated driver, according to the criminal complaint. Drunken Driver Eludes Cops, For a Little While

The Port Washington man is charged with his 4th operating while intoxicated charge after officers noted his erratic driving upon exiting the highway.

A 35-year-old Port Washington man faces charges for his 4th operating while intoxicated offense after two officers chased him through the city for his erratic driving. George Basgall was charged on Friday in Ozaukee County Circuit Court for attempting to flee or elude an officer as well as 4th-offense operating while intoxicated. He faces 3 years and 6 months in prison, and an additional one year in county jail as well as $12,000 in fines and the loss of his driving priveleges for up to 3 years and 6 months. He is set to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. June 4 for a status conference. PD: Teen Makes Marijuana Sale on 4/20, Facing Charges

A neighbor saw the 17-year-old Port Washington resident make the sale outdoors, adding that he even saw the group roll a joint.

A 17-year-old Port Washington man faces charges for a marijuana sale made on 4/20 — a number many associate with the drug. Dennis Do was charged Monday in Ozaukee County Circuit Court with one count of manufacturing THC and a second count of possession with intent to deliver near a school, and faces 21 years in prison as well as $35,000 in fines. The potential penalties are higher than usual because the sale was made within 1,000 feet of a school; Do could also lose his driving priveleges for up to 10 years. Target Parking Lot Drug Bust Ends in Charges for Two Suspects

Ozaukee County law enforcement officials caught the two suspects as part of an undercover sting.

A 23-year-old Oak Creek woman and a 26-year-old South Milwaukee man face charges after an undercover heroin bust lead to their arrest in Ozaukee County. Alexis Fecteau, of Oak Creek, was charged in Ozaukee County Circuit Court on Friday with six felony counts of manufacturing and delivering heroin and faces 75 years in prison and $150,000 in fines. Dennis Vallier, of South Milwaukee, was charged Friday with six felony counts of manufacturing and delivering heroin as well as one charge for obstructing an officer anf faces 75 years 9 months in prison and $160,000 in fines. He was also charged on Monday with operating while intoxicated. Right can plan all the drugs in Milwaukee. Instead of getting the kids help the police set them up. They had the man in jail prior to the first deal. They offered him no help but they did have a undercover detective in the jail with him. Telling him he knows where the heroin is and can get him the number. That's a Crime? Port Resident Faces Charges for Livestock in Highway

Police responded to an area of Port Washington where several horses where in the roadway, eventually citing their owner.

A 52-year-old Port Washington woman faces criminal charges after her horses were seen in the road on North Northwoods Road in Port. Cynthia Higgins-Geib was charged Friday in Ozaukee County Court with one count of allowing livestock on highway; she faces $200 in fines for the criminal misdemeanor charge. An officer was dispatched to the area of 3245 North Northwoods Road, Port, at 6:29 p.m. Oct. 19, according to the criminal complaint. A jogger flagged down the officer and pointed out the horses.  The officer moved closer to the location and saw three horses, now loose on a property. He spoke with Higgins-Geib, who was able to get the horses back into the corral. She is scheduled to make an initial appearance in court at 8:45 a.m. May 21.

PD: Man Cites Azana Shooting in Threats That Earn Charges

The 38-year-old Ozaukee County man was unhappy with he called a lack of help from the counties Counseling Center in Port Washington, and made several threats that something bad would happen because of it.

A 38-year-old Ozaukee County man undergoing counseling treatment is in custody after he made several general threats while alluding to recent tragedies such as the spa shooting in Brookfield, according to police. Ian Wangert, of Mequon, was charged Friday in Ozaukee County Circuit Court with unlawful phone use-threatens harm and faces 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines for the misdemeanor.  Wangert told staff at Ozaukee County Counseling Center on Thursday that he felt "nobody will help him," making other comments that caused one staff member to feel threatened, according to the criminal complaint. That staff member then called police. Wangert called the counseling center later that day, saying, "if I don't get some (expletive) help, …

Gas Drive-Off Ends in 3rd OWI for Port Resident

The driver had went home to get cash and told officers he was intent on returning to pay for the gas — but he was clearly intoxicated.

A Port Washington resident is charged with his 3rd operating while intoxicated offense after officers tracked down his vehicle in connection with a gas drive-off. Gary Church, 50, was charged with his 3rd OWI charge on Monday, as well as an operating with prohibited alcohol content charge - 3rd offense. He faces $4,000 in fines and at least 90 days in jail, but up to 2 years, as well as up to 6 years of revocation of his license; because his blood alcohol content was higher than .170, his fines may double. Bar Visit Lands Saukville Man Back in Jail

A 31-year-old Saukville man violated his bail when he showed up at the Railroad Station and had some drinks — but that's not all he had.

A Saukville man facing a felony charge of strangulation and suffocation from earlier this year is back in jail after being caught in a bar. Justin Carris, 31, faces charges of felony bail jumping and possession of THC after an officer encountered him at Railroad Station. He faces fines of $11,000 and 6 years, 6 months in prison, as well as revocation of his license for up to 5 years. According to the criminal complaint, the officer entered the bar at 11 p.m. April 6 and, in speaking to the defendant, noticed a strong odor of intoxicants on his breath. A 54-year-old Saukville man is facing charges for his 6th operating while intoxicated offense after being caught driving at speeds more than 90 mph on Interstate 43.

A 54-year-old Saukville man is facing charges for his 6th operating while intoxicated offense after being caught driving at speeds more than 90 mph on Interstate 43. John Krieger was charged with a 6th offense OWI on Monday. He faces fines of up to $10,000 and 6 years in jail. Those penalties could be doubled, tripled or quadrupled pending his blood alcohol content; a blood test was taken and sent for chemical testing. He may also lose his drivers license for two years but not more than three years. A citizen called police on Saturday to report a possibly intoxicated driver, according to the criminal complaint.
