Two men are accused of beating a bouncer and another man inside a Port Washington tavern Saturday night. Eric O. Brown, 23, of Mequon, and Brandon R. Jones, 24, of Milwaukee, were charged in Ozaukee County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of substantial battery and one count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, they each face up to 21 months in prison and $11,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 12:43 a.m. Saturday, Port Washington police officers were called to The Railroad Station, 200 S. Railroad St., on the report of a fight between several men. It would be interesting to know if the police were unharmed, how much alcohol was served to those arrested, how much had been consumed by the "bouncers," if the "bouncers" were trained or licensed to intervene in these circumstances, if this has happened at the bar previously, it the liquor license has every been reviewed by the municipality and under what circumstances, and if it will be …   more ›
