Ozaukee County Man Sexually Assaults Intoxicated Woman, Police Say

The 19-year-old man faces one count of sexual assault for the incident that occurred in his apartment.

A 19-year-old Ozaukee County man is facing a felony charge for sexually assaulting a woman he described as "out of it." Ethan Fagen, of Grafton, was charged with one count of second-degree sexual assault on Monday. If convicted, he faces not more than 40 years prison and $100,000 in fines. Fagen hosted a group of friends at his apartment on Saturday, according to the criminal complaint, during which people admitted to smoking marijuana and drinking. The victim, a 20-year-old woman, told police she started to feel sick during the party and was afraid she was given a date rape drug; she also admitted to both smoking marijuana as well as drinking. Port Man to Face Sentencing for Sexual Assualt of 5-Year-Old

James R. Essleman, charged with sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl, changed his "not guilty" plea to "no contest," and will appear in December for his sentencing.

A jury trial tentatively set to take place this month for a Port Washington man charged with sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl will not happen after the defendant entered a no-contest plea to the charges. James R. Esselman, 216 W. Jackson St., will appear in court at 11 a.m. Dec. 18 for a sentencing hearing in connection with two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child under 13 years old. Esselman was charged in January; in March, he pleaded not guilty to the charges; in October, he changed the plea to no contest. Port High Teen Faces Sexual Assault Charges

Police say the suspect, 17, sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl he was dating in August.

A 17-year-old Saukville boy is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl inside his home in August. Douglas M. Yanko is to have "no contact with any females under age of 18 with the exception of during the course of the school day at Port Washington High School," as a condition of his $5,000 cash bond, according to court records. Yanko was charged in Ozaukee County Circuit Court on Nov. 14 with one count of repeated sexual assault of a child. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison and $100,000 in fines. Saukville Man Accused of Assaulting Disabled Girl in New Berlin

Suspect allegedly touched the girl while they're sharing a bed together after they had been drinking alcohol in a kitchen.

A 38-year-old Saukville man is facing charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl inside a New Berlin home. Melvin K. Malchow Jr. was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Thursday with one count of third-degree sexual assault. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and $25,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: Malchow was in a home on May 26 in New Berlin where he allegedly began to touch the victim’s genitals while they were sharing a bed. The girl told police that she and the defendant had been drinking alcohol in the kitchen prior to the incident and “her body was scared” during the assault, so she pretended to be asleep until he stopped. Jury Trial Set for Port Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting 5-Year-Old

James R. Esselman pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child under 12 years old and five counts of possession of child pornography. A jury trial is scheduled to start in November.

A Port Washington man charged with sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl twice as well as taking pornographic photos of the victim is tentatively set for a jury trial in November. James R. Esselman, 216 W. Jackson St., was charged in January with two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child under 12 years old and five counts of possession of child pornography. A jury trial is now scheduled to start at 8:45 a.m. Nov. 15. In March, he pleaded not guilty to the charges. On Sept. 12 he will appear in court at 11 a.m. for a status conference to discuss whether trial will go on. If convicted, he faces up to 245 years in prison and $500,000 in fines. After almost three days of testimony and just one hour of deliberation, an Ozaukee County jury on Wednesday found former Port Washington bus driver Randy Mayer guilty of inappropriately touching students on his route. Mayer, 225 S. Madison Ave., was convicted of all four felony counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 13, and faces up to 240 years in prison. The trial involved three children. "I watched all of you as the trial progressed, and all of you were very attentive," Circuit Court Judge Sandy Williams told the jury after the verdict was read. The jury trial for Randy R. Mayer, who faces four felony counts of sexual assault of a child under the age of 13, will extend an extra day — with a verdict expected on Wednesday.
