Services remembering the young lives lost in a town of Saukville car crash earlier this week are all taking place this weekend. Stephen Miller, of Port Washington, along with Jayme Ceplina, of West Bend, and Nicholas Snow, of Germantown, all passed away after a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Hawthorne Road and County Highway I in the town of Saukville late Monday night. Ceplina and Miller were prounounced dead at the scene. The driver, Snow, died as a result of his injuries the day after the crash. Services for Snow, 25, are being held at Schmidt & Bartelt Menomonee Falls, N84W17937 Menomonee Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, with the service starting at 7 p.m., according to his obituary on Schmidt & Bartlet's website. Three young lives were lost late Monday night, but the memories of those who died will not soon be forgotten. "It's sad to hear someone so young having someone happen like that," said Isaac Miller, the uncle of the 23-year-old Port Washington victim, Stephen Miller. The crash occurred at about 11 p.m. Monday night in the town of Saukville near Hawthorne Hills Golf Course. The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department believes alcohol and speed were factors.
Three people were killed in a crash near Hawthorne Hills Golf Course on Monday night. Stephen Miller, 23, of Port Washington and Jayme Ceplina, 21, of West Bend were both pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash that took place near the intersection of Hawthorne Road and County Highway I in the town of Saukville, according to a press release from the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office. The driver, Nicholas Snow, a 25-year-old Germantown man, was transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital. Lt. Christy Knowles confirmed that the driver had died as a result of his injuries by Tuesday afternoon. Jayme was a great lady and will be sadly missed. I have known her for many years and her mother and I can not even begin to think of the pain that she is going through. I can only hope that this will be a learning experience for her friends and loved ones to please do not drink and drive and please never get into a vehicle that someone is driving under the influence.
