Around the Corner: Watch Port's Premiere Online

The Milwaukee Public Television program with host John McGivern featuring Port Washington aired on Thursday.

After a premiere party of the Around the Corner Port Washington on Monday, the episode aired on MPTV on Thursday night. Did you miss both events? Check it out here! Around the Corner is a show that was created to "inspire pride and interest in Wisconsin's communities," according to the show's Production Consultant Deidre Martin. She said show dives into three main aspects of each community, which producers describe as the "working here, living here and playing here" aspects of the chosen town. Season two will have a total of 14 episodes and will air statewide, according to Lois Maurer, creator and producer of the show. All episodes are also available online. Tell us in the comments.

Party Coming Soon: 'Around The Corner' Premiere Event Set for Late March

The Milwaukee Public Television program with host John McGivern featuring Port Washington will air in March, with a local preview screening earlier in the week.

A premiere party for the Port Washington episode of Around the Corner with John McGivern is set for late March at Memories Ballroom. The party will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 25, and the episode premieres later that week, according to Port Washington Tourism's Facebook page. A video clip previewing the Port episode is attached to this article. The Milwaukee Public Television program will run at 7 p.m. March 28 on Channel 10.1 and again at 8 p.m. March 29 on Channel 36.1.  Port Washington Tourism Executive Director Kathy Tank said McGivern will be at the event. Port's TV Premiere is 'Around the Corner'

The Milwaukee Public Television program with host John McGivern featuring Port Washington will air in March, with a local preview screening to be set earlier that week in the city.

An air date for the Around the Corner series featuring Port Washington has been set for late March. The Milwaukee Public Television program, with host John McGivern, will run at 7 p.m. March 28 on Channel 10.1 and again at 8 p.m. March 29 on Channel 36.1.  Port Washington Tourism Executive Director Kathy Tank said the city has been working with the show's producers to schedule a preview screening of the show in a public venue. The date has been set for March 25, though the group is still working to pick a venue. Tank said McGivern will be at the event. Around the Corner: TV Show to Feature Port Washington

The Milwaukee Public Television feature with host John McGivern spent a couple days filming Port Washington people and places in June, and will be back in July for more — with the special episode airing next spring, as well as a community preview event.

Though the TV series spent time in 13 Wisconsin communities last year filming its first season, Around the Corner host John McGivern told Port Washington Inn owners on Friday that this was the first bed and breakfast he was interviewing for the show. Around the Corner is a show that was created to "inspire pride and interest in Wisconsin's communities," according to the show's Production Consultant Deidre Martin.
